The Patient Registry unit (PRU) was previously one of the subunit under clinical epidemiology unit (CEU) in CRC.

Its roles are to :

1) Initiate and maintain establishment of patient registries in major clinical disciplines

2) focus on keeping patient registries alive

3) keep data resources flowing

 

PRU's services


  1. Administration
  2. o Initiates and maintains the establishment of patient registries.

    o Keep patient registries alive by ensuring the flow of data resources.

    o Plans and maintains the infrastructure required to support the operations of registries.

     

  3. Training
  4. o Research services including project oversight & management, protocol development, etc.

    o Helps coordinate writing sessions.

     

  5. Technical
  6. o Ensures registries produce the promised results and comply with applicable regulations, ethical guidelines and best practices.

     

  7. Reporting
  8. o Maintain line of communication between registry and MOH on related activities.
