Dear colleagues,
Keeping with Tradition & Initiating New Strategies
Welcome
to the first e-newsletter issue of the Clinical Research Centre, Ministry of
Health, Malaysia. Aptly named
crc@my, this
inaugural issue will primarily feature Malaysian clinical research news, updates
and events. We will also cover international research-related highlights, with
sections on latest regional and global releases. Following the good response and
encouraging feedback received from a similar e-newsletter that we developed and
distributed late last year, we decided to make
crc@my a regular
feature, with issues every two months. As such we welcome comments and
contributions for our subsequent issues.
This issue brings evidence of several critical initiatives that CRC has put in
place during the last 12 months, which are hoped to significantly impact
clinical research in Malaysia and compel those of us in this field to promote
this growing industry. Articles featured in this issue, will specify CRC’s new
and innovative strategies in improving its services and highlight the shift in
focus of pharmaceutical companies to Asia for potential clinical research hubs.
