About Us

Serdang Hospital is a Ministry of Health's (MOH) Hospital. This is a secondary and tertiary care hospital serving the community living around Putrajaya, Bangi, Serdang, Puchong, Kajang and beyond.

Serdang Hospital is a government-funded multi-specialty hospital in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. This hospital is located near Putrajaya, the Malaysian federal government administrative centre.

Serdang Hospital, which commenced operation on December 15, 2005, is designated as the reference center for cardiology, cardiothoracic, urology and nephrology surgery. The hospital will provide affordable, quality treatment for heart patients from the lower income group. The center will cooperate with the Selayang Hospital, which specializes in renal care and liver transplants.

Serdang Hospital is the teaching hospital for the University Putra Malaysia (UPM). The operation of this arrangement shall be based on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between MOH and UPM.

Serdang Hospital shall be managed and run based on the Total Hospital Information System (T.H.I.S) concept. The operational policies for the hospital shall be made available for the operation of this hospital.
