The idea of setting up CRC Ampang was initiated in Year 2007 and has since appointed Dr. Ong Tee Chuan to head the centre in 2008. Even though CRC Ampang is still in its infancy, it has grown to become an efficient and accountable centre to conduct quality and ethical research in order to enhance patient outcome.

CRC Ampang Hospital is located in Specialist Office, Level 3 besides the reception counter. It is accommodated with 5 computers and has upgraded its local network system to advance research activities through NMRR registration.
