Overview

The Clinical Research Centre (CRC) is the clinical research arm of the Ministry of Health (MOH) to conduct clinical trials, clinical epidemiology and economic research, and manage complex medical databases. Under the purview of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the CRC promotes, supports and conducts quality and ethical research to improve patient outcome. With a network of 18 centres around the country, the CRC acts as a One-Stop-Centre by providing a single point of contact to access all MOH hospitals and clinics nationwide. Click here for details

Travelling to CRC

CRC is located on the 3rd Floor of the Dermatology Block in Kuala Lumpur Hospital. To get there:
1. Go to Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
2. Then head to the Dermatology Block, which is next to the Nephrology & Urology Block.
3. CRC is on the 3rd Floor of the Dermatology Block. (1 floor above the Dermatology Wards).

If you are traveling to CRC by car, you are strongly advised to park your car in the private car park (only RM 3.00 per entry) next to the MMA building (see map). Then just walk across Jalan Pahang to HKL. It is very difficult to finding parking space in HKL. However if you must, then allow up to 45 minutes to find an empty parking lot.

• HKL is easily accessible by bus and is covered by the following bus companies:
o Rapid KL – no. 14, 17, 49, 91 (from Central Market) & 41.
o Metro Bus – no. 41 (from Central Market).
o Len Seng Bus Company – no. 169 (from Central Market).

HKL is also accessible via STARLINE and Monorail System.
o Only 10 minutes of walking from the Titiwangsa STAR Station
o Only 10 minutes walk from the Titiwangsa or Chow Kit Monorail Station.
