About CRC
The Network of Clinical Research Centres (CRC) is one of the six research institutes under the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Ministry of Health Malaysia. It was established in the year 2000. Since then, it has expanded to 27 branches at major hospitals in Malaysia. The headquarters of CRC Network is at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
CRC’s Vision & Mission
- To become a leading clinical research organisation in Asia
- To improve patients’ health outcomes through ethical and quality clinical research
- To attract biotechnology companies and contract research organisations to conduct clinical research in Malaysia
CRC’s Roles
- Promote, support and conduct investigator initiated research (IIR) by healthcare providers at MOH
- Coordinate and facilitate the conduct of contract industrial sponsored clinical trials
- Develop clinical data resources
